The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Directorate General for the Promotion of the Country System (DGCE), through Office VI: Promotion of Italian Culture, provides grants upon application for:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. funding travel and accommodation expenses for researchers, professors, experts, cultural figures, and cultural operators\u2014Italian or foreign\u2014who have been residing in Italy<\/strong> for at least two years and are invited abroad by foreign universities or cultural institutions;<\/li>\n
  2. contributions toward travel and accommodation expenses for researchers, professors, experts, cultural figures, and cultural operators\u2014foreign or Italian\u2014residing abroad and invited by Italian universities and cultural institutions<\/strong>, with the aim of promoting collaborations and joint research programs.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Applicants may request from MAECI a financial contribution to partially cover travel and accommodation expenses. The grant is provided as a lump sum<\/strong>, up to a maximum of \u20ac1,500 to \u20ac3,000 depending on the destination, for a maximum activity period of 10 days.<\/p>\n
