"Louis and Keely Live at the Sahara"

Louis Prima was the son of immigrants from Sicily and Ustica. An unforgettable talent and personality, he discovered Keely Smith and together they were among the most successful entertainers during the Golden Age of Las Vegas showrooms.

Tony Award winner Anthony Crivello, himself of Sicilian descent, portrays Louis in a love story filled with music, joy, and heartbreak.  Co-written and directed by acclaimed film director Taylor Hackford (Ray, An Officer and a Gentleman), this award-winning play features dancing and a seven-piece live band providing the accompaniment to such hits as “Just a Gigolo” and “What Is This Thing Called Love.”
