Allegra is a lively young woman who grew up in the calm and pacific Switzerland, Italian speaking part. She has three great friends that share her passion for high mountain climbing. They decide to travel to Morocco to reach the top of the Atlas, where the sea is visible. Their trip ends abruptly. A man explodes a bomb in a coffee shop in their tourist town and her three friends die in the attack and also other 13 innocent people. When Allegra realizes she will never get her old life back, motivated by a desire for redemption, Allegra decides to leave her family and return to the city to start working again. Until she meets Arad, a young Muslim refugee who reminds her of the terrorist she caught a glimpse of on the day of the tragedy. And so, accepting pain and joy as a part of an unreachable all, Allegra can start getting rid of her fears, uncovering her secrets and shedding a light onto them, paying homage to those who are not there anymore, going back to living life at full.
