Every summer, Live on the Lake! brings Chicago’s lakefront to life with a vibrant outdoor concert series featuring the city’s finest bands alongside regional, national, and international artists. Set in the iconic setting of Navy Pier on the shores of Lake Michigan, the program transforms one of Chicago’s most recognizable destinations into a lively hub for live music. Each weekend, the program showcases a diverse range of musical genres and styles, offering audiences an engaging live music experience in one of the city’s most scenic settings.

This year’s edition features Kety Fusco, the Italian-Swiss harpist and composer who has emerged as one of the most innovative voices in contemporary music. Blending classical training with electronics and experimental techniques, Fusco reimagines the harp as a bold contemporary instrument, exploring new sonic landscapes that bridge avant-garde, club culture, and cinematic sound.
Her performances have taken her to some of the world’s most prestigious venues and festivals, including London’s Royal Albert Hall, the Montreux Jazz Festival, Italy’s Festival di Sanremo, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, and SXSW in the United States. Her artistic vision has earned recognition from leading international media such as The Guardian, BBC Radio, and ARTE France, as well as the support of acclaimed artists including Iggy Pop.
Her album BOHÈME, featuring Iggy Pop, together with her recent collaboration with Jeff Mills, marks a new chapter in her artistic journey, continuing her mission to redefine the expressive possibilities and future sound of the harp.
