Presentation and book signing by Author Federica Bernardini of her book: The Fascinating Life of Berta (originally published in Italian as Le Stanze del Tempo), story of a woman in northeast Italy in the early 20th century between WWI and WWII, and the resilience of humanity in the face of murder, war, poverty, illness and betrayal.
Complimentary copies of the book will be available for each guest attending the lecture. A book signing and reception will follow.
Federica Bernardini, of Jesi (Ancona), has published four collections of poetry, gaining numerous literary awards and is a leading producer of live theater in the Le Marche Region of Italy.
