Winx Club: Discovering Italy’s Magic

The most famous TV fairies, born from the genius of Iginio Straffi and known worldwide, are the protagonists of the new series Winx Club: The Magic of Italy, created by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in collaboration with Rainbow.

The fairies are the protagonists of eight exciting episodes, which will be broadcast abroad through the Network of Embassies, Consulates and Italian Institutes of Culture. A special journey dubbed in nine languages (Italian, English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Korean, Mandarin and Japanese), which was created to show the world some unusual places of Italy, where the encounter between beauty, History and culture materializes as real rare gems, like those that fairies will find during their journey.

The animated series is part of the initiatives of integrated promotion of Italy produced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and was designed to bring our country’s unknown territories to the general international public, showing their great historical, cultural and naturalistic value, with testimonials that are close to the youngest.

The magical heroines of the animated saga Winx Club, have become a global phenomenon capable of proposing current themes and interpreting the dreams and needs of the public, overcoming every cultural boundary. Friendship, courage, commitment, generosity and positivity: this is the explosive mix of values of which the fairies created by Rainbow have always been ambassadors. Since the launch of Winx Club in 2004, Winx have been able to reinvent themselves and keep up with the times, demonstrating the potential of a brand with a global reach and continuous growth.
