ICoN – Italian Culture on the Net is a Consortium of 14 Italian Universities (University of Bologna, University of Catania, University of Genoa, University of Milan, University of Padua, University of Parma, University for Foreigners of Perugia, University of Pisa, University of Rome Tor Vergata, University of Rome Tre, University of Salerno, University for Foreigners of Siena, University of Turin, University L’Orientale of Naples) active since 1999 in promoting Italian language and culture worldwide through e-learning and new technologies.
The ICoN Consortium offers 10 scholarships covering partial tuition fees for self-study enrolment in the first semester of the first year of the Bachelor’s degree program in Italian Language and Culture (didactic-linguistic curriculum and arts, music, and entertainment curriculum). These scholarships are reserved for foreign citizens and Italians residing abroad who meet the requirements for enrollment in an Italian university.
The awarded students will pay a reduced fee of 345 euros (instead of 690 euros) and will also have free access to a self-study online Italian course at the B2 level provided by ICoN.
