SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDY ITALIAN LANGUAGE AND CULTURE IN ITALY

General Terms and Conditions

Every year, the Istituto Italiano di Cultura announces the availability of scholarships for U.S. students to study the Italian language and culture in Italy, at various private schools throughout the country.

These scholarships usually provide either a free admission or a reduction on the prices of the language courses given in schools, academies and centers offering Italian for foreigners. Airfare and all additional expenses are the responsibility of the student. However, for those who require lodging, most schools provide accommodation at reasonable prices.

To apply for the scholarships, candidates must live in the Institute’s area of jurisdiction: Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansa, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Tennessee, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

Priority will be given to those students that have attended ItalCultura.

All candidates wishing to be considered for one of these scholarships should complete the following steps:

1) Please consult the complete list of schools. By following the links, you will be taken to the individual websites of the schools, where you can find information regarding classes offered.

2) Applicants should then send either a letter or an e-mail requesting a scholarship to the following address or e-mail:
