Library Hours
The reading/reference rooms are open to the public Monday through Friday, from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm and from 14.30 to 16.30. Entry is free. Books and periodicals can be read in the two reading rooms that can sit up to twelve people and have a PC with access to the catalogue.
On-site listening/screening of audiovisual materials cannot be arranged.
Acquisitions are made through the purchase of recent publications, the endowment of special releases from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Culture, contributions by publishers, and donations by private citizens.

Borrowing Privileges
Supporting members of the IIC can borrow books and other materials.
Books may be borrowed for up to a month, videotapes and DVDs for up to a week. Items can be renewed only once by phone or email: iicchicago@esteri.it
